For one I always hated popcorn reading & especially where the teacher would start with one student then we go from front to back of classroom, that made the anxiety worse knowing it’s almost my time to read. I’d try and get out of presenting projects or the other activities where I had to speak in front of my peers by telling the teacher I had to use the bathroom really bad, and sometimes it would work. My stutter was mild-aggressive throughout all my school life & some people knew I stuttered and others didn’t, many people did make jokes about it but I laughed it off to just kids being kids. I’m currently 22 and still have it rough at times as it will flair up at moments.
