I got my first job around 18 too, I work as a software developer and have to handle calls with colleagues all the time. Please do not let your stutter hold you back, it is such a small part of you that you shouldnt let it dictate your future, if people have a problem with it then that is their problem and not yours. If I can recommend one thing, it's to live life as you would regardless, follow what you want to do, it's not a taboo to stutter, you wont get shamed for it, 90% of people are very understanding. Yes the other 10% can be rude or whatnot but let bygones be bygones
