Hello I also have a mild stutter, gets worse when stressed or nervous as well. I use to make a bunch of calls/radio talking in a steel mill. I knew it would be stressful because of my stutter but I didn’t want to turn a promotion down because of my stutter. I knew this wouldn’t be forever as I planned to bid on another job within the company that I knew I was opening up soon. I did the job and talked, called out numbers and stuff for a total of just 1 year. Then I took the other job I was talking about in the paragraph above. While it was hard, I was really proud of myself. Some days harder than others, but I knew it would be hard and I did it! In the long run I can even say that the confidence boost I had received HELPED my stutter. So whatever you’re thinking about doing I say just do it. Don’t let the stutter stop you. Good luck.
