Stuttter and University Hey guys I just found out this morning that I was short listed for a scholarship interview over the phone at my chosen university. They told me the call will last 30-45 minutes and I'm honestly freaking out because I have a really bad stutter where I just sometimes cant get words out. It happens a lot when I try to say my name, its an awkward pause before I can finally get it out. Can anyone bless me with some tips on how I can deal with this? Also, I am trying to be as professional as possible, would be simply stating before the interivew "Hey, just a quick heads up, I do have a slight stutter, so if you see me pause at certain moments I'm still here!" seem professional enough to the interviewer? I really would love any help I can get from anyone, the interview is in 2 days and I'm going to prepare as much as I can but am scared when it actually comes to the call. Thank you very much!
