What should I say When I first meet you and I know you are a PWS? A lot of people block on their names and I know this so I want to dance around the name question. I had a situation recently and I felt like an ass because I asked this person their name and it was hard as hell for them. This person couldn’t get it out so they ended up writing it. It stuck with me because at the same time I heard my own son blocking on his name when someone was striking up a conversation with him. I do know to hold eye contact and wait. But what should I do when the speaker is totally blocked?
