I was buying a car and I had brought my dad along. My dad negotiated a great deal and the salesman looked to me to accept and I blocked. I had no tension in my face, no sound came. I then breathed out and sighed because I was struggling to say yes. The sales man took that as me being unhappy and said “let’s look at what else we can do.” He threw in a bunch of extras and increased the part exchange offer for my existing car. He then looked at me and said that really is everything he could do. I chucked and said. “Sounds good”. My dad and I laughed on the way home. Another thing that isn’t really a win but it is nice. I stuttered on my name twice at the local take away and that seared my name into the owners mind. Whenever I walk in, regardless of the queue he shouts “Rokkitt! How are you sir? I have your meal.” It’s actually quite nice 😊
