Is anyone interested in practising over Skype with me? I'm looking for a partner to practice techniques with. Ideally, we would just have a regular conversation and practice techniques during it, rather that explicitly doing exercises in front of each other. I'm in the EST time zone. I would prefer to do these convos later at night (around 10 pm). I'm free on pretty much any day except for Friday or Saturday nights. We can practice as often as you like. Just for context, I'm 20, male, and in college. My stutter usually ranges from non-existent to extremely severe, depending on my anxiety. I also have a voice disorder and would be practicing techniques for that too during the conversation, so just a heads up if I sound weird. Finally, if I stumble over my words a lot, it's because I'm anxious; I swear I'm not mentally disabled. My speech being more broken that yours might make you more comfortable and less self conscious around me.
