Not being able to say “sorry,” “thank you,” “nice to meet you,” “you, too,” (in response to “have a good day”) or even the big one: “I love you,” is very emotionally draining for a good-natured stuttering person who wishes to say those things, but just can’t sometimes. Gives people the wrong impression and emotionally it just bottles up. I know how you feel.
