Yes because it’s ablest. It’s not funny and never will be. Never once have I laughed at that joke🤷‍♀️ in my experience, people usually say this as a way to get the message across that they are trying to be heard/understood in whatever they are saying. One person will usually say a comment about something, the other person will say something along the line of “are you serious?” And the response to that would usually be “did I stutter?” So, when you say “did I stutter?” It insinuates that there’s no actual real validity behind my words because I stutter. It almost feels like having “don’t take me seriously because I stutter” across my forehead. Not sure if I’m just overly sensitive or not based off of the rest of these comments but this is how I’ve always felt about it.
