I wholeheartedly disagree and I think this is terrible advice for anyone with a stutter. You have no idea if someone else doesnt have to be a severe stutterer. Some people will always be severe stutterers. So why give someone a fantasy that might not be possible. Especially since if they take that as actual advice, then its understandable if they feel like a failure if they cannot overcome being a 'severe stutterer'. Shame on you for not respecting the fact that stuttering is a spectrum and just because you might not be on the most severe end, it doesn't mean you get to advise others as though they arent either.
