There’s not a trick that works for everyone. With me it helps to somehow be speaking prior to the official start of the speech / introduction. Perhaps making small talk with a person sitting nearby. The longer I stand there silent the more difficult it is to overcome blocks. Sometimes that means volunteering to go first in a group project presentation.
