We have all been there. I don’t do it anymore. I have trained my brain to immediately stop at a block and do what fluent speakers do. I spent my time and research on why don’t fluent speakers stutter. My expertise is in brain based thinking and learning which allowed me to rewire my brain to mimic a fluent brain. It is not perfect but I do have about 90-95% fluency. I have never had a relapse of significant blocks or stuttering. Most people have no idea that I am a lifelong stutterer.
