I started typing this when you first posted then got distracted with work and lost it, so my apologies. - Firstly, I'm sorry that you have had such a shit experience with your speech, I was bullied terribly at school and it took me a while to get past that. You're at the age where you will be an adult soon, and trust me, most adults don't give a shit that you stutter and are too self absorbed to even realise. Secondly, weed won't help you with your speech, it could also lead to other mental health issues with definitely WILL affect your speech. For the record I have smoked it, if that matters. Thirdly, surround yourself with people who want the best for you, if your friends are bringing you down get rid. If social media is bringing you down get rid. But. You mustn't lock yourself away because that creates its own set of problems. I didn't do much with my teen years but as soon as I started working out around 19 my confidence went through the roof, and that's when I realised that people don't give a fuck that I stutter. I'm not sure what I can tell you to try, other than form healthy habits. Look after your mental AND physical health because they go hand in hand. Surround yourself with good people. You say you're home schooled, is there some sort of youth club you can go to? I know they are few and far between but being around and speaking to people more often will help. I'm not sure where you are based but I'm in Nottingham and found a self-help group and they helped me out a lot, maybe that is something to look into. If you play videogames is there a community you can join and play with to build your speaking confidence? There is always this group to post in if all else fails, at least we all know how you feel.
