The biggest issues are just... everything involved in living life as a college student. Introductions, working on campus, ordering a coffee from a shop, the list goes on. There's just a constant state of fear (especially as a woman) that you just can't shake because you always worry about who you're going to scare next just by speaking. \*\*this is just my experience, it's not how it is for everyone As for a wish, I wish people would just treat us normally. Fluent or not, I'm the same person either way. All the faces of pity, jokes, and remarks like "Oh I don't know how I could function if I talked like you" get really old.
