Great response! Yes I agree with you, we weren't allowed to speak with the del ferro if we feel a stutter. You are right, if I was able to distract myself from this stutter feeling (or other triggers), and I spoke with the del ferro, then I didn't stutter. Not just me, everyone in my del ferro group did not stutter in therapy classroom, and also outside when practicing at central station, if you remember those days. Regarding the three steps in the del ferro: the last step (step 3), is where we don't use the del ferro method, and just speak immediately without intervention, aka subconscious, natural and spontaneous fluency. With the del ferro method, I have never reached this phase, and my group members also didn't reach it. In your own experience, do you think that you can reach step 3 one day?
