you're generalizing based off of incomplete data and research, assuming things are factual. this is like basically high school to avoid spreading misinformation like that. is stuttering a behavior you can learn to stop doing? you don't even know what "causes" stuttering, or what causes it to persist/stop, how can you, a NON RESEARCHER, make claims based off of hypothetical discussion?
