I coped with it by reading aloud, seeing a speech therapist for a couple sessions, and generally accepting it as part of who I am. It seems paradoxical but when I stopped resisting it, it stopped being so dominant. Now I have job interviews (without mentioning a speech impediment on my CV) and though I may stutter a small amount, I don't really think about it and my prospective employer doesn't either. I do know the struggle and I'm saying to keep going. There is an answer.
