The one good thing about the pandemic for me is that it showed me I had a lot of unaddressed anxiety in my life and it gave me the time to tackle it with my doctor. Unfortunately, none of the medications I've tried so far for anxiety/depression have worked but I'm starting use ADHD meds because apparantly if left untreated in adults it can lead to anxiety and depression. So I'm trying to find something that works for me still but reducing anxiety for always help curtail my stutter. The side effects vary pretty wildly from med to med so it's mostly just finding sweet spot between side effect and the efficacy of the drug. My best advice is don't get discouraged and keep working with your doc on finding something that works, I've been at it for months and only now feel I'm getting close to nailing it down.
