Hey man. Look...stuttering is hard. It's unfair. It's complicated and confusing and frustrating and sometimes even depressing. But hey, you can't let your stutter define you. Trust me when I say that my whole image of myself has drastically improved since I became more open about my speech. I finally accepted deep inside that I am a person who stutters and that is who I am. I understand how hard it is to blame all of your hardships on your speech but believe me when I say this that your speech does not define you. Speaking about jobs, it took a lot of persistence and perseverance to land one. It took me six months of NONSTOP connecting, networking, phone interviews, Skype interviews, and finally, in-person interviews. I would say that I had about 30 phone interviews (I was very anxious for 100% of them) which led to only about five in-person interviews. During ALL of these interviews, I was VERY transparent about my speech upfront, and even made a few jokes about it to lighten the mood. In these conversations, if you make yourself comfortable about your speech, your interviewee will be comfortable and will see how much confidence you have which is something employers notice. You will find a job and lead a great life, despite whatever connotations you feel about your speech. My advice is to just take every interview request you get and keep on learning from prior mistakes to make your next interview even stronger. And most importantly, DON'T. GIVE. UP. Feel free to private message me if you ever want to talk more because trust me, I know exactly how you feel :)
