I've had a doctor who had the worst accent. I asked him to repeat himself many times. Then I spoke to his nurse. Usually, that nurse do a lot of the talking. Anyway, that doctor had his own practice. So the speech will not be the deciding factor: The education is key. Work hard and you get the rewards you deserve. Don't get too far ahead with the doubts. Finish med school. Land your jobs, and take one day at a time. You can always get advice from many places. Some of the tips that are posted now for others can be helpful in the future. And the patients want good medicine and a good manner. The disfluency may help with a few customers: There could be positive bias.
