so, i rewatched this film with my wife recently, and i just burst into tears during the last speech he gives. i think the film isn't completely accurate about how it is to be a stutterer, and i agree with one of the other posts that it gives the feeling that if you try hard enough like bertie maybe you can be fluent, too. but it's one of the only films about stuttering out there and it definitely touched a chord for me in my guts while watching it.
