What's been helping me was reading out loud, I'd been at it for a year now, and my speech has become somewhat better. I'd come to realize that stuttering is something I'll always fight against and that instead of hating myself, I'm going to accept it, welcome it, yes I stutter, yes I take long pauses to communicate, but there's something about not getting stuck and actually prononciating a word you struggled with. In other words, I stopped giving a fuck not just about what others think, but about what I think about myself and now I'm way more relax mentally, I'm able to communicate, and having clean conversations.
