Pretty much the same as you. I’ve been stuttering since as long as I can remember too, and it played a big part in developing social anxiety. I remember in elementary school and in junior high, when we had to read parts of a text in front of the class, I would just not be able to even begin the first sentence, just an awkward silence, the teacher insisting that I must read my part, because they actually think that it’s gonna make me progress… So yes, it’s definitely tied, today I’m 26 and I think it got better as I’m a bit more confident, but still struggling with anxiety and stuttering to this day
