Disability or not, life is already hard as it is. Call me childish but I laugh at my own and other peoples' stutters without needing to feel offended. To me, humor is healing itself and the fact that I can laugh at stuff makes me happy, simple as that. > It comes down to the difference between "laughing AT someone" and "laughing WITH someone". Consent is the key difference between the two. Absolutely agree with it and it is indeed disrespectful to be laughing and even worse, commenting about it on the internet. That being said, I like to think if I was in her shoes I'd understand the situation and also laugh a little with some silly helicopter noise. Let me add something: the fact that these are YouTube comments is very important since it makes one susceptible to being an asshole as can happen on the internet, and certainly did here. I feel in the real world things would be very different and am unable to imagine laughing at someone like this; I wrote this post with the basis that it is the same with everyone else. I felt the need to write this so as to clarify the situation, and while I (or anyone else for that matter) might be an asshole on the internet I rarely see people doing this IRL. Hope you understand my view, and I thank you for taking the time to explain this.
