I found no issue with this article. I especially agree with the idea that we shouldn't hold on to one perspective approach or theory of stuttering. I think that applies on both a macro and micro level. On the micro level people with stutters tend to believe that they are an expert on their fluency potential. To put it bluntly... Many of us are closed minded to the concept of improving our fluency. I also want to note the credentials of this doctor. I don't see ASHA mentioned often in the sub. I wonder if ASHA might be a good resource for people seeking treatment? The doctor I worked under to achieve fluency also has ASHA credentials.
