I do that too but mostly with new people who don't know I have a stutter or when I'm just tired of it. In most conversations during the day, I lie at least once that I don’t know something or that I’ve forgotten what i wanted do say when I can’t say the word/sentence I wanted, so when I’m with my close friends, I try to be as real as I can be because otherwise, it would be even more exhausting than it already is.
