If you can speak quickly that means your stuttering is slight if you don't mind me to say that. Severe stutterers can barely move mouths to complete prompt pronounciations so it's very hard for them to speak quickly. btw imho it doesn't necessarily help cuz any general resolutions to stuttering will be household ones to every stutter but in regard of quick responses to stuttering to use useful speech techniques then yeah for sure it's effective, as well as the fact that you can have enough time to fumble on what to say.
