I appreciate the input and this is just my own personal opinion but I don't think the term "pity" should be used towards a person who stutters or any disability for that matter. I mean look at people in wheelchairs. They lost the functioning of their legs and can't walk (for some for life) which means these people can't do fun aerobic type of activities like other people do. It sucks and I'm sure they wish they could but I don't feel pity for these people because I know they are capable of many great things and have a lot to offer the world. I used to have a cousin who was permanently in a wheel chair and he had many qualities and was super intelligent. He realized his wheelchair didn't have to stop him from enjoying life and it didn't. He found someone he loved, got married and lived his life. Again though, just one man's opinion. You don't have to agree with it :)
