Ive stuttered since 3rd grade. Ive never bother d seeking out other people or doing research on my own. Its been about 17 years since i started stuttering. In my case its not as bad as it used to be. My brother has this too and his is slightly worst than mine currently. But one thing i noticed is whenever i speak in different accents, not just words, but the actual voice (indian, western/cowboyish, russian, Jamaican, etc...) i never notice myself stuttering. Have you tried this? If you havent and you end up meeting people who also stutter, you should definitely bring this up as it may help. Yoy can try to slowly change your accent, not drastically, but just a little bit until yoy notice a change. Try it and let me know!
