I think because stuttering overall is not attractive/popular, you see mostly in stand ups, comedy shows when they make jokes about it, but besides this they dont know anything, what is stuttering, how it impact life and self esteem. I think I have seen more lgbt actors that are talked about than stuttering, I guess it makes more money. Im not sure if stuttering is not seen as manly, it seen more negative for males than females and main characters are usually males. Another thing is, we dont have famous, loud influencers who would talk about it and promote more knowledge like people do with wheelchairs, autism. We are kinda silent minorities like others who "cant speak for themselves"
