>Do they really though? It’s often us who scold ourselves by saying people dislike us In my experience, most people don't care. There's simply not enough energy or willpower to care enough about if someone else stutters. The only timr that's been untrue was in elementary/middle school, or around that age, but kids will find literally any reason to be dicks. Once I was around HS age, no one cared. Of course, you're going to find that one exception but it's not reflective of most people. Like you said, it's often us who scolds ourselves.
