Yes. Anxiety definitely plays a role, like if i was trying to approach an attractive female; my fluency is much worse. My fluency is much better in person than on telephone calls. I guess i can't read their body language, and that makes me nervous. So my fluency making phone calls is much worse. She's so lucky to have you in her corner.
