Yes! I’ve recently begun seeing a speech therapist myself after doing for about 15 years without. It puts a greater focus on my stuttering and forces me to work in greater detail with how I stutter everyday. Plus, it is way easier to share some of the burden with an outsider who is there to help you. But I also have the advantage of being able to see one for free as I’m living in Denmark. If it’s pricey and you haven’t got a lot of funds, I understand it might not be possible.
