I'm 27 and I went to a bakery for the first time in my life, and now I'm a regular customer. I've lived next to a bakery for 2 years now and have never been there. Even though I really want to go there, I never had the courage to step inside. But a month ago i had a 'f*ck it' moment and went inside, immediately got helped, so I said what I wanted (with some big stutters), I paid, they handed me my stuff, and within 2 minutes I was outside again. I come there now a few times every week, even though I stutter a lot when talking publicly. It's like that psychical obstacle to go into a public setting has been removed. I'm so happy that this happened, now I actually can think about going shopping or stuff like that. I usually order my things or go to a store where you can scan and pay on your own, without talking to anyone.
