Bad dentist visit because of stuttering

Bad dentist visit because of stuttering I just have to share what happened because it’s insane. I went to the dentist for a scheduled appointment to have a tooth removed. However, I wanted to explain to her that I didn’t want to remove the tooth. Instead, I just wanted to treat my other teeth first because it takes a long time to wait for a replacement tooth and I also wanted to get the documents from my insurance company for a free dental implant before going through with the extraction. I clearly remember having other teeth that needed attention—she had mentioned them during previous visits.  But instead, I stuttered so badly that I couldn’t clearly express my thoughts. I wanted to explain that I still had a few other teeth that needed treatment. The dentist asked me to clarify a couple of times, but I kept stuttering so much that she couldn’t understand me. In the end, out of desperation, I just pulled out my phone and started typing out what I wanted to say. But by that time, she had already started to kick me out of the cabinet, telling me how awful it was that I had wasted her time by canceling the procedure. The whole thing made me look like a complete idiot because I canceled her appointment and, on top of that, couldn’t even communicate properly due to stuttering, which made everything impossible. At the end, she refused to schedule another appointment for me and suggested that I find another clinic. It was one of the worst attempts at communication ever... I know this wouldn’t have happened if I were able to speak without stuttering.
