Anyone else stick to using quick wit for humor in social situations instead of storytelling?

Anyone else stick to using quick wit for humor in social situations instead of storytelling? Since I can't really tell a story in an interesting and fun way due to my stutter, I tend to stick to quick wit when trying to make people laugh lol. Anyone else can relate?
