Unfortunately by age 7 the chance of natural recovery (naturally stop stuttering) is low. There are interventions out there to treat stuttering in children (Lidcombe program). However last time I commented this I was downvoted as I believe in America they usually do the stutter affirming therapy approach rather than attempting to lower the stuttering severity.
