It’s not unusual for stuttering to change over time. What your describing sounds like a “block” and the cursing sounds like a secondary behavior. If you can afford it, seeing a speech therapist even briefly might give you some insight on your specific stuttering (terms to describe it, severity, etc) and fluency techniques that could work for you. If you can’t afford to see a speech therapist, there are free resources online for fluency techniques (articles, videos on YouTube). Be carful with these, avoid things that claim to “cure” stuttering or are generally negative. It’s likely outdated or created by someone who isn’t fully informed.
