I know this may be a weird question to ask, but how many people exercise here/go to the gym I feel like ever since I started going to the gym, my stutter hasn't been as bad? Dunno if it's just me gaining confidence in my appearance to make my stutter more acceptable and no seem as bad. (The world is extremely biased towards good looking people) Plus the gym is an amazing way to blow off steam, I would bet about at least 50% of the people in this sub have some sort of sub-conscious anger (or even conscious) about their impediment and what better way to do it than to use the anger for good instead of thinking about the bad side of things. If anything use your pain to do something good for yourself. The gym is very intimidating for those who do not go, but everyone has to start somewhere.
