My wife was my second girl friend. She didn't care. Neither did my first girl friend. Once people reach adulthood, little things like a stutter (not saying a stutter is a little thing, just that in the grand scheme of things other things are more important) aren't important compared to being able to provide for a family and other things. I wish I knew this as a kid, it would have been less anxious about the future.
