In many respects stuttering is analogous to bad hearing or bad vision. If you have bad hearing you get a prosthetic (hearing aid). If you have bad vision you get a prosthetic (eyeglasses). If you have bad speech (stuttering) you probably just need a prosthetic and most of your problems will be solved. I have been using the Edinburgh Masker for years and it totally changed my life for the better. I have twin boys who stutter. At about six years old they began using DAF and it was marvelous. Now they are older they use the Edinburgh Masker and it is wonderful. I would advise you to definitely look into it. Use Google for starters and then follow up on what you find. I am sure you will be very happy with the results.
