It's so interesting, because my oldest boy is neuro-typical, and he has no stutter. He was bullied relentlessly in school (although thankfully, in Gr 7, the bullies are no longer in his class, and it's better). My middle has really severe learning disabilities; has all sort of extra help in the classroom, and has a stutter. But OMG he has the social skills of a pro. He's Mr Popular. Gets invited to every party. I've had to DECLINE invites to parties because he was already booked to go to another party, haha! My oldest, poor boy, got the short end of the stick there. Has never been invited to a bday party. :( His situation is incredibly sad. But anyway, I say this all to say that you never know how things will unroll.
