my mom grew up with a stutter and her mom always told her to slow down, so my mom never told to slow down or stuff like that because she knew how demeaning it felt at times, but occasionally friends relatives or aquainteces tell me to just slow down and it still feels very demeaning, or occasionly I'll get mocked and it still feels horrible. Good on you for pushing through it, just curious how old are you?
