A lot of us feel less important. Stuttering does real damage to our sense of self worth. Today needs to be the day you look in the mirror and see the most important person in the world. Every time to feel belittled, recognize that feeling as harmful to you. Be conscious of it. Shut it down. Redirect your mindset, then and there. Remember that NO ONE IS MORE IMPORTANT THAN YOU. You have years of feeling diminished. Hundreds of little cuts that you accepted. How would a child know how to manage such experiences? It became an accepted part of you life. NO MORE! It will take a lot of hard work to start reframing how you manage these experiences. But it can become your natural response with time and effort.
