God, this sucks. The unfortunate part is that proving it was discrimination is virtually impossible. Especially if it’s an at-will employer. Someone suggested you get it in writing, but good luck with that. Unfortunately the deck is stacked against us, and we have so little recourse. I wish you well and hope you find a career job soon...and I’m very sorry you’re facing this.
