An interesting discovery I read somewhere that stutterers have 50-200% more dopamine in their brain than fluent people. Stress and nervousness release dopamine. So, whenever we are nervous, more dopamine is added. So, by using dopamine antagonists, you could theoretically reduce a stutter.
