Yep, that's correct; although if I'm in a fine French restaurant or travelling in Quebec, I can still get a little anxious ordering as I'll flip to rusty French and I'm not super-confident with my accent and vocab - it depends on who I'm dining with and what their French skills are. The heart rate increase was the worst in anticipation of "introduce yourself" or before I had to present something in high school - I can vividly remember what that feels like, but I'm so glad I don't have to worry about that anymore. Toastmasters helped me in my late-twenties by making me get up and talk off the cuff/improv. Joining Toastmasters was probably the best thing I ever did for my stutter (trumped years of speech therapy).
