First memory of your stutter?

First memory of your stutter? So when was your first memory of your stutter? Did you start at a young age, a teenager or even in your adulthood.. I've been thinking hard bout this, I'm 58 now, my first memory Ithat i can recall was at junior school , so I must of been 7 or 8ish.. I clearly remember a girl asking why I spoke differently... I can't remember much from my childhood, but that always sticks out.. I wasn't born with it so I've no idea what actual age it started, and I also wonder why my mom didn't seek help from a speech therapist back then...
