It’s quite the margin but it doesn’t necessarily mean that the 1% is wrong. Statistics are often reported with a confidence interval and it’s good practice for this to be included in studies because this is what practitioners and government use to inform decision making. It’s expected to see some variations to the number (%1) especially considering the relatively small sample that it was pulled from. But personally it doesn’t seem like a statistical big enough issue. Whether it’s 1% or 0.5% or 0.22% the narrative is the same - “only a very tiny percentage of the population struggles with persistent stuttering”. This was interesting though as it’s a different kind of posts. Thanks for the engaging post
