Definitely neurological in my case. My father and brother have stutters too. It has taken me about 20 years (I'm 38 now) of working on my anxiety, reading many self help books and pushing boundaries and finally with a little help from citalopram 5mg, I'm at my least anxious and I still stutter. To be honest I'm not too bothered about the stuttering now but it causes me jaw pain and tension so I would like that gone.
